"I started on etsy in March of this year and I came across the site when I googled something and another seller's shop came up. I have been sewing for many years off and on and had toyed with the idea of selling pillows and other home goods online, but hadn't actually done it until March. I love working with fabrics and colors. I enjoy decorating and have spent a lot of time decorating my house and finding the perfect paint colors. Much of my inspiration comes to me when I am lying in bed at night. It's probably the only time I have quiet enough to think (the kids are sleeping :) Usually as soon as I close my eyes ideas come. I attribute every idea and everything in my life to my faith in God. Because of this, I think it is important to give back to those who are in need and decided to make it a priority of my shop to give 15% of my profits. I am currently focusing these donations to projects in Uganda that provide wells for clean drinking water and supplies and mission work to a local orphanage."
